Simon Caldwell is one of a handful of DJ’s whose name adds a certain integrity to an event. Playing since the early 1990’s to beer drinkers, bum shakers and radio listeners alike, he has managed to avoid the stifling ‘style’ classification so many other DJ’s trap themselves into, keeping himself free to draw on his varied loves of deep, soulful house, techno, funk, jazz, electro, booty, hip hop and anything else which catches his ear.
Simon has supported (on the same stage) a list of internationals longer than your arm, including Larry Heard, Theo Parrish, James Brown, DJ Sotofett, The Black Madonna, Todd Terje, Rolando, Herbert, Claude Young, Maurice Fulton, Grace Jones, Derrick Carter, Vakula, Moodymann, Actress, Onra, Moritz von Oswald, Charles Webster, Fred P and Frankie Knuckles, to name just a few. He currently holds down Monday Sunset on FBI Radio, and is resident/co-promoter of Mad Racket, a Sydney underground party institution running since 1998, responsible for the first ever tours of Moodymann, Herbert, Jamie Lidell, The Black Madonna, Charles Webster, Jus Ed & Steve Bug, among others. Among many podcasts and live mixes, Simon has been invited to present mixes for Resident Advisor’s illustrious podcast (#181), Melbourne Deepcast, John Digweed’s Transitions show and Boiler Room (in early 2014, alongside Derrick Carter). In mid 2014 Simon based himself in Berlin for three months and played 5 shows there at clubs including Wilde Renate and Prince Charles, plus 2 shows in Russia and shows in Hamburg (Golden Pudel Club) and London (Rhythm Section, Peckham). In 2016 and 2017 Simon did shows in Berlin and Hamburg, including sets at legendary clubs Golden Pudel (Hamburg) and Heidegluhen and About:blank (Berlin).
Simon has also taught at AIM since 2008, tutoring electronic ensembles, as well as teaching DJing and electronic music composition.

Micha aka DJ Morphingaz
Micha began DJing at age 13, releasing music by 17 and brings nearly 30 years of industry experience to FutureSkool.
While based in London throughout his 20s, Micha toured internationally at festivals and clubs and would always find opportunities to record his ideas in studios around the world. He presented UK’s premier hip hop show on the world’s first internet radio station for several years before returning to Australia in 2007. Through these experiences, his tastes and skills evolved and he is now considered one of Sydney’s most eclectic and adaptable DJs and producers.
Micha has been teaching music production and DJ skills in high schools, universities, private organisations and community centres for 20 years both in Sydney and abroad and always adapts his teachings to the students’ needs. He has facilitated workshops for the offices of Spotify as well as the audio team of Baz Lurman’s Neflix production, The Get Down. He has taught novices who have carved great careers as DJs as well as shared his specialized skills with high profile DJs in the UK.
His passionate energy and guidance inspires his students to mix, play and create all that they want to achieve. Micha continues to collaborate on productions and live projects while releasing and publishing music on his label. He produces using software, Logic, Reason, Ableton Live & Maschine, and DJs using Vinyl, Traktor, Rekordbox and Djay Pro.
